Deposits: When booking One
Earth Events, the Client is charged either a
50 or 100 deposit dependent on the size of
the event, this is deductable from the event
final bill. If the Event should be cancelled
this deposit will not be returned. This is
due to the fact that on a number of
occasions Organisers have not contacted us
before to tell us the event is cancelled and
OEE have ended up incurring travelling costs
and other fees.
Material Costs: Whilst
these costs are kept to a minimum the event
organiser is responsible for paying the cost
of all materials used. This information goes
out in the Quote for cover. Please be aware
this can range from nothing payable to
several hundred pounds dependent on injuries
sustained.
Charity and Community Events:
Whilst we offer reduced pricing to Community
and Charity events, we also ask the hirer to
pay for meal costs for our staff for these
events. The reason We can offer a
competitive community and charity rate is
the fact that our staff volunteer for these
events, and as such do not get paid
therefore we feel it would not also be fair
to ask them to feed themselves out of their
own pockets.
Emergency Cover: IE: short
notice event cover, please accept that last
minute cover costs more, as we have to find
available staff and ship them to site.
